How should you store apples for maximum crispness? Why are oranges good for you? How do farmers grow white asparagus? The answer: the weather. In this short series of broadcast interstitials for The Weather Channel, I explore the answer to these questions and many more. Striking the right balance between educational and entertaining was tough, given the tight runtime (75-120 seconds per episode) and the incredible chemical complexity of the foods we eat.
